Jan Coles

Jan was born in New Zealand, has lived in Germany, Denmark and Sweden, but has spent many years living and working in Essex in the computer industry as an Education Manager and Service Management Consultant.  Having worked full-time in several large organisations while raising four children, she understands the balance required to progress in a career and yet find time for family, friends and personal interests. 



Jan has been interested in astrology for the last 25 years and studied at the Centre for Psychological Astrology (CPA) for 3 years, where she qualified with their Certificate and Diploma. Probably the best known exponent of psychological astrology is Dr Liz Greene, a Jungian analyst, who set up the CPA in London in 1983 with the late Howard Sasportas, a psychosynthesis psychotherapist.  It was set up to foster the cross-fertilisation of astrology with the fields of depth, humanistic and transpersonal psychology.
